New Images

I've posted some life drawings on the 'Life' page above, since I've been going to the Rising Sun Arts Centre again recently.  Most are short poses, between 1 and 5 minutes.  There are one or two full colour studies from 40 minute poses.

There's also a new portrait, not entirely complete, in pastel pencil on  Murano paper..........

This was made in one of the Saturday Llife/Portrait sessions at Remenham a few weeks ago.  It's the lovely Anne.

I've been working on a number of themes in the past couple of months, and doing a lot of life drawing and painting with pastels.

Exhibition Countdown

I'm working hard for this year's exhibition at The Turbine house, Blake's lock, in Reading.
Opens 23rd June 10:00 to 18:00, daily until 1st July 18:00.

On show will be a couple of earlier works and a lot of new ones, like these little oil paintings of marbles.......
